Tutorial:  Freeze the background of a gif (which lowers the file size) Duplicate the very top layer (right click>duplicate layer) Select all the frames (click the gif menu>select all frames) Click the box next to the copied frame so that an “eye” appears. Click the eraser tool and erase the part of the gif that you want to move.
